IPDM, LLC was founded in 2016 as a Small Business Enterprise Design Management company that provides Owner's Representation and oversight of the design consultants and contractors for the new Terminal 1.5 addition and renovation at Los Angeles International Airport.  IPDM, LLC is SBE certified in LA County.

 

 

Terminal 1.5 Scope

A 250,000 square foot passenger processing building provides additional ticket counters, baggage claim devices, baggage screening and security screening lanes to support future flight growth for Domestic airlines. Additionally, this terminal expansion program includes a new bus gate to facilitate transport of customers to the Midfield Satellite Concourse west of the Tom Bradley Int'l Terminal, increasing the daily enplanements for all of LAX. The terminal expansion and renovation will also provide a pedestrian bridge connection point for the future Automated People Mover being constructed to improve access into the LAX campus as part of the Landside Areas Modernization Programs (LAMP).

LAX Terminal 1.5 is a hybrid CMAR/design-build construction project sponsored by Southwest Airlines, the long-term airline operating in the building. The Project Management Team consists of AvAirPros, aviation program consultants and IPDM for budgetary and design oversight respectively. PGAL is the Architect of Record, designing the building and taxilane elements. Hensel Phelps Contractors is responsible for constructing the building and managing the design of the Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, Baggage Handling and Fire Suppression systems in coordination with PGAL. The Team is co-located in the same office to save time, money and effort in overall project execution.

Drew Isley, President/CEO

 

Drew established IPDM, LLC to provide design oversight services to AvAirPros, airline and aviation consultants, for the LAX Terminal 1.5 Development Program. Drew's career has spanned more than 20 years beginning with design and developing to management and Owner's Representative work. 

 

In 1996 Drew moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to start his career in architectural design during the booming expansion in that market. Over 17 years he worked on various project types ranging from aviation, hospitality, medical office buildings, food & beverage, higher education and more. In 2013, he relocated to Redondo Beach, California and has been acting as an Owner's Representative leading the design and construction team through all phases of projects to ensure a successful result. Drew's experience includes more than $3B worth of project construction value.

 

Currently IPDM is managing the design and construction efforts for a new terminal building at Los Angeles International Airport. The terminal building is being built via a developer's agreement between LAX and the sponsoring airline, Southwest Airlines.
